Dr. Jeffrey L. Cohen, DDS excels in what many dentists find one of the most difficult aspects of dental practice – the treatment of the fearful patient. Many people are dental phobic and have a very real fear of dentists and dentisty.
However, for patients in the Covina and West Covina areas (and even in the wider Los Angeles area), Dr. Cohen successfully treats dental phobic patients with the use of nitrous oxide, sedation dentistry or hypnosis – all of which helps to relax the patient and alleviate patient fears.

His wife, Jo Beth, is a Registered Nurse and was a Director of Patient Care Services at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Dr. Cohen and his family reside in San Marino where they are actively involved in many community organizations and activities. In his leisure time, Dr. Cohen enjoys his family, reading, competitive bicycling and sailboat racing.

Due to the intricacies and importance of sedation dentistry in the lives of so many patients in the San Gabriel Valley, Dr. Jeffrey Cohen, a veteran dentist in the Covina, West Covina, Azusa area, sent his staff to Washington, D.C. to attend the same seminars that doctors from around the country attended. Mrs. Shyla Cobbett and Ms. Lili Holt were held to the same high standards as the dentists in attendance.
